Wartburger IPA

This is a partial-mash version of a toned-down Death By Hops, which was based on Sister Star of the Sun.

17 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 74 IBU
OG: 1.065 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Grain: .25 lb. British crystal 135-165L
.25 lb. Malted wheat
3 lb. British pale
Mash: 60% efficiency
Mash grains in 2 gallons of water at 151 degrees for 60 minutes. Sparge with 1.5 gallons of ~160 degree water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.092 3.5 gallons
6.6 lb. Light malt extract
1 tsp. Irish moss at 30 minute mark
Hops: 2 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
3 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028 (London Ale), pint starter
Carbonation: 3/4 cup dextrose
Tasting: Haven't brewed this yet. It's my next batch, though.
