Brewed on a sunny day that I had to spend inside cleaning up after my dog. I even made sure to listen to Nirvana's "Territorial Pissings" while boiling...

Beer: Leg Raiser IPA Style: India Pale Ale
Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
13 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 83 IBU
OG: 1.075 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 7.8% v/v (6.2% w/w)
Water: Tap water with 1 Tbs 5.2 Stabilizer and 1 Tbs gypsum.
Grain: 10 lb. 4 oz. American 2-row
1 lb. German Vienna
1 lb. German Munich
8 oz. American crystal 60L
2 oz. American crystal 80L
12 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 75% efficiency
153°F for 60 min. Decoction mash out at 160°F for 10 min. Continuous sparge to collect 7.5 gal in brew pot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.055 7.5 gallons
1 lb. Corn sugar
1 lb dextrose added at beginning of boil
Hops: 1 oz. Simcoe (12.2% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (9.5% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (8.7% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (9.5% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. CTZ (17.5% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (8.7% AA, 0.01 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (9.5% AA, 0.01 min.)
1 oz. Citra (13.9% AA, 0.01 min.)
1 oz. Falconer's Flight (11.4% AA, 0.01 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (aroma)
1 oz. Citra (aroma)
1 oz. Falconer's Flight (aroma)
Yeast: 2 packets Safale US-05 direct pitch to oxygenated wort.
Log: 10 days primary at 63F, add dry hops and go 14 more days til kegging.
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Keg: 9.9 psi @ 47°F
