First batch in 10 years. Got the urge to try again, went to our local supply store and he helped me out with this recipe.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
15 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 41 IBU
OG: 1.072 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.1% w/w)
Water: Used standard tap water(Well)
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 20L
Steep: Steeped 1 lb 20L Crystal at 170° for 45 minutes. Removed grain
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.180 2 gallons
9 lb. 5.3 oz. Light malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Chinook (12.7% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (15.8% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12.7% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (15.8% AA, 20 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (15.8% AA, 10 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (aroma)
Yeast: Used #56 dry Ale yeast. Pitched it in the morning after the boil, wort was at 72°.
Log: Brewed on 12/7/06. Active fermintation maintained 74°. Racked to 2nd carboy on day 4 as fermintation slowed. Day 6 fermintation had slowed to a bubble in the air lock every 5 minutes and was settled. Bottled on 12/13/06 useing 1 cup of dry Malt extract for priming.
Carbonation: Boiled 1 cup dry malt extract in 3 cups of water for 10 min, added to beer.
