Georgia Strong Ale, Ver-1.075

I wanted to brew up a good tasting American Ale, but stronger
that general guidlines, this looks about right ;) I'm brewing
today and will let you know in a few weeks how it turns out...

Brewer: Dr. Psyco Email: DrPsyco@mindspring.com
Beer: Georgia Strong Ale, Ver-1.075 Style: American Pale Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
15 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 44 IBU
OG: 1.075 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 8.1% v/v (6.4% w/w)
Water: Deep Well water, high mineral content.
Grain: .25 lb. American victory
.75 lb. American crystal 10L
Steep: I originally designed the recipe using about twice the grains
but the steep looked much darker than I expected so I dumped
half the steep out. I think the roasted malt that the brew shop
had on hand was abit more tosty than expected.

Steeped 152f for 60 min
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.125 3 gallons
8 lb. Light dry malt extract
1tblsp Irish Moss
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 10 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056, American Ale
Log: I'll post the results in a few weeks, updated on racking
to secondary, bottling, and testing in another 2 weeks
after bottling.
Carbonation: Intended on priming with 1-cup of DME
