29 HCU (~15 SRM)
Bitterness: 61 IBU
OG: 1.066 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.0% v/v (5.5% w/w)
Water: All bottled Pennsylvania Spring Water.
Grain: 2 lb. 2 oz. British pale
1 lb. American crystal 20L
3.6 oz. American chocolate
Mash: 50% efficiency
Bring grain soup up to approximately 155°F & hold for 50 minutes.
Sparge with 1 gallon 170°F water.
Boil: 45 minutes SG 1.055 6 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
1/4 oz. Irish Moss Powder added with 20 minutes left in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Summit (18% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: 1 package SafAle US-05 dry yeast.
Carbonation: Will either bottle using 5 oz. Corn Sugar or Force Carbonate in Corny Keg.
