Fourfinger Ale

26 HCU (~14 SRM)
Bitterness: 19 IBU
OG: 1.085 FG: 1.006
Alcohol: 10.2% v/v (8.0% w/w)
Water: I just boil my water before use
Grain: 2 lb. American victory
Steep: Steep at 130°F for 20 min 140°F for 15 min and 155°F for 10 minutes.
This will give you all your proper starch conversions, because the three pounds will make a big difference in your FG
Boil: minutes SG 1.158 3.5 gallons
10 lb. Light malt extract
4 lb. Amber malt extract
Hops: 1. oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1.0 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
.5 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Carbonation: Bottle Condition using 1cup corn sugar and half cup mollasses. Boil with 1 cup water.
Tasting: For god's sake dont filter it!! but be careful to not keep too much sediment.
