Kiss My Blarney

O.G. was actually 1.058 with 5 gallons in carboy, so I didn't top up to 5.5 gallons
Mash S.G was actually 1.038, with 5 gallons collected.

Alcohol: 5.8% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Grain: 5 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. Fawcett Optic pale
.5 lb. Crisp British amber
1 lb. Breiss American crystal 20L
Mash: 73% efficiency
Single step infusion 150°F for 60 minutes in 3 gallons. Batch sparged with 170°F with 2.5(ish) gallons.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.071 4.75 gallons
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
2 lb. Amber dry malt extract
All hops were leaf hops. Luckily, AA%'s of the Yakima and Willamette were lower than originally expected. Should make for an evenly balanced brew
1 tsp Irish moss and 1 tsp Yeast nutrient were added with 15 minutes remaining in boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Chinook (12.9% AA, 90 min.)
1 oz. Yakima Goldings (2.9% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Yakima Goldings (2.9% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (4.4% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (4.4% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: 1/2 gallon 1084 Irish Ale yeast cake from Kiss My Blarney Extract/grain recipe
Log: Brewed 3.17.06. 4 hour lag time before the blow-off tube was needed.
Estimated bottling on 3.27.06
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.47 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: This was my partial mash version of one of my original recipes (to be posted eventually). Hopefully, this turns out tasting as good as the original.
