8 oz. American Munich
1 lb. American crystal 40L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 80% efficiency
Steep all gain in 3 gallons of cold water. Bring to 150° and continue to steep for 30 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.124 3 gallons
7 lb. Amber malt extract
1 tsp. Irish Moss at 15 minutes.
Hops: .5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: WYEAST Nothwest Ale Yeast
Log: Primary - 7 to 10 days at 65°.
Bottled with 3/4 cup priming sugar. Carbinated fairly well in 14 days.
