Red Bone +

This is a variation of a a recipie I found at my local Homebrew supply shoppe.

Beer: Red Bone + Style: American Amber Ale
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
14 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 28 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: All water was purchaced from a culligan water machine inside a wal-mart. 1tsp. of gypsum was added before everything.
Grain: 8.0 oz. American crystal 20L
8.0 oz. British crystal 50-60L
Steep: water was brought up to 150°F. Then the grain was added. The held for 30 mins.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.096 3 gallons
6.6 lb. Light malt extract
10 oz. Cane sugar
2 tsp. Irish Moss 15 min before the end of boil.
Hops: 2.0 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 1028 London Ale.
Log: Brewed Feb- 03 - 2001 and is off to a healthy fermentation ~12 hours later
Carbonation: bottle carbonation with DME or corn sugar.
Tasting: TBA
