Water: Well water, no filtration
Grain: 0.98 lb. American Vienna
7.8 oz. Flaked wheat
Mash: 77% efficiency
60 min. @ 160, sparge with 1 gal 170 water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.100 2.5 gallons
4.69 lb. Light dry malt extract
1t Irish Moss last fifteen min.
Hops: 0.94 oz. Chinook (12.5% AA, 60 min.)
0.47 oz. Perle (5.5% AA, 30 min.)
0.24 oz. Perle (5.5% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Perle (aroma)
Yeast: California Ale yeast (white labs liquid)
Log: The .25 oz Perle hops was dry hopped, first time using this method.
Just started this brew on 11/15/00. Racked on 11/24/00. Bottled on 12/08/00 with 1 cup corn sugar at about 65 degrres. condition for about two weeks. enjoy.
Carbonation: 2.8 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.58 oz. for 4.5 gallons @ 65°F
Tasting: have not had a chance to tast yet. being patient.
