Alcohol: 5.3% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: 5.2 buffer
Grain: 10 lb. German Pilsner
1 lb. Flaked corn
Mash: 78% efficiency
Mash 15 minutes at 127°F, 90 minutes at 148°F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.050 6.5 gallons
First wort hopping.
Supermoss added at the last 15 minutes of boil.
Hops: 14.2g Kent Goldings (7.2% AA, 70 min.)
14.2g Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 30 min.)
8.8g Kent Goldings (7.2% AA, 15 min.)
14.2g Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: WLP029, Kölsch yeast.
Log: Started Oct. 26, 2013 Siphoned: Nov. 3, 2013, with gelatine.
Lagering temperature was slowly brought down to 35°F.
Bottled Nov 23, 2013
Carbonation: 1.7 volumes Cane Sugar: 20.0g for 6 gallons @ 40°F
