Some Stout

I designed this stout from Ray Daniels's book(I can't
recommend this book enough). One note I'd like to
make is American chocolate was not used. I used
Caramel wheat in the recipe, there was no listing
for caramel wheat in the calculator.

Type: Partial mash Size: 5 gallons
Color:
159 HCU (~48 SRM)
Bitterness: 50 IBU
OG: 1.065 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 6.3% v/v (4.9% w/w)
Water: None
Grain: 5 oz. British mild
9 oz. American crystal 10L
7 oz. American chocolate
19 oz. Roasted barley
10 oz. Flaked barley
14 oz. Flaked oats
7 oz. Flaked wheat
Mash: 52% efficiency
All grains in 3 gallons of water at 155° for 1 hour.
Sparge with 1 gal. of 170°.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.059 5.5 gallons
89 oz. Light dry malt extract
Hops: 1.75 oz. Brewers Gold (8.2% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: British Wyeast slurry(1/2 cup) from conical of
previous batch of ESB. One quart starter made from
this.
Log: Primary glass 5 days. Secondary conical one week
