4 oz. American black patent
8 oz. Roasted barley
1 lb. 8 oz. Flaked barley
Mash: 65% efficiency
Dough in 166 to stabilize at 149 for an hour.
Sparge to collect 6.5 - 7 gallons for boil.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.090 7 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Amber malt extract
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
Irish Moss in final 15 minutes if desired.
Hops: 1.28 oz. Magnum (13% AA, 75 min.)
0.80 oz. Styrian Goldings (5.5% AA, 75 min.)
0.82 oz. Perle (8% AA, 75 min.)
0.46 oz. Palisade (6% AA, 15 min.)
