Evil Midget Stout

First attempt at an Imperial.
Lower than usual efficiency, my excuse is a cloudy, windy day.
Low gravity forced a change to Foreign style.. looks good.
Will be revising throughout the process.

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
191 HCU
Bitterness: 62 IBU
OG: 1.070 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 7.2% v/v (5.6% w/w)
Water: 1/2 tsp Gypsum to mash and sparge water.
Grain: 12 lb. British pale
8 oz. British chocolate
1 lb. 8 oz. Roasted barley
2 lb. Flaked barley
8 oz. British crystal 50-60L
Mash: 65% efficiency
Single infusion @ 156°F for 65 minutes.
Sparge with 5 Gallons @ 170 over 1 hour.
Boil: 65 minutes SG 1.060 6.5 gallons
1/2 tsp Irish Moss @ 12 minutes.
Hops: 3.5 oz. East Kent Goldings (6.1% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: 1098 British Ale smack pack, pitched at 73F.
Log: Brewed on 4/19/00
Mash in at 11:30 AM EDT
Mash out at 12:40
Began boil at 1:50
Chilled into carboy at 3:00.
Pitched yeast at 3:40
Carbonation: 2.3 volumes Corn Sugar: 3.90 oz. for 5 gallons @ 69°F
