Honey Porter

We found this recipe at our local brew store's website (byob.com). It is called Marty's Pitchfork Honey Porter.

Beer: Honey Porter Style: Robust Porter
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
92 HCU (~33 SRM)
Bitterness: 22 IBU
OG: 1.058 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: Add 4 teaspoons of gypsum after grains are steeped and removed.
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 40L
8 oz. American chocolate
Steep: Add grains in a steeping bag and bring 5 gallons to a boil then remove and sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.058 5 gallons
6.6 lb. Dark malt extract
12 oz. Honey
The malt extract used should be Munton's Gold Dockland Porter Extract at 6.6 lbs (2 cans).
Hops: 0.50 oz. Northern Brewer (9% AA, 60 min.)
0.50 oz. Northern Brewer (9% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast London Ale Yeast (#1208)
Log: Ferment between 60 and 72 degrees. We are doing it at room temp in a bedroom. Rack when bubbling slows past 30 seconds.
Carbonation: Add 3.5 oz. of corn sugar to prime 5 gallons for bottling.
