8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. American black patent
8 oz. British chocolate
1 lb. Rauch Malt
1 lb. Cherry Wood Smoked Am. 2-Row
Mash: 75% efficiency
Note: Calculate your own strike water temps based on your own brewing conditions and expected heat loss. Mix grains with 11 quarts 16 oz of 170°F water. Mash temp stabilized at 152°F. Sparge with 20 quarts 16 oz of 170°F water. Preboil qnt. approx. 6.5 gallons.


Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.041 6.5 gallons
Hops: 1.0 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (aroma)
