St. Nicks Winter Warmer

This is a very good beer to drink when things are just to cold to do anything else.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
32 HCU (~16 SRM)
Bitterness: 39 IBU
OG: 1.092 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 9.8% v/v (7.7% w/w)
Water: Used tap water that has been softened.
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 20L
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.115 4 gallons
10 lb. Amber malt extract
1 lb. 8 oz. Corn sugar
Hops: 2 oz. Brewers Gold (8.2% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (6.1% AA, 8 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast Scottish Ale #1728
Log: 5 days in primary fermenter
10 days in secondary fermenter
Carbonation: 1 cup corn sugar
