a recipie i wish to try out later, i found it on the hbd list-serv and decided to post it up with extract conversions.

Beer: Braggot Haggot Style: Barley Wine
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.2 gallons
Color:
7 HCU (~6 SRM)
Bitterness: 6 IBU
OG: 1.074 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 8.5% v/v (6.7% w/w)
Water: reverse osmosis water
Grain: 1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
.5 lb. British Caramalt (12 L)
Steep: 150° for 30 mins.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.128 3 gallons
3 lb. Light malt extract
6 lb. Light clover Honey
Add the honey at the end of the boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1318
Carbonation: 3.0 volumes Keg: 36.1 psi @ 69°F
3.0 volumes via keg
