5 oz. Belgian Special B
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.055 4 gallons
4.5 lb. Light dry malt extract
.5 oz. Wheat extract
.50 oz. Brown sugar
Did a 90 minute boil to carmelize the wort a little.
Hops: .5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1098 yeast cake from brown ale
Log: This thing fermented out literally overnight, to 1.010 STRONG yeast cake.
