Effed up RyePA

Hoppy rye ale. All freshly dried chinook hops.

19 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 85 IBU
OG: 1.065 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 6.8% v/v (5.3% w/w)
Grain: 14 lb. American 2-row
3 lb. American victory
2 lb. American crystal 40L
3 lb. 8 oz. Flaked rye
Mash: 70% efficiency
Mash at 155° for 1 hour.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.059 11 gallons
2 lb. Honey
Add 2 lb of honey at the end of the boil.
Hops: 2 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 45 min.)
2 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: Cali Yeast Ale 001 in a 2 qt starter.
Log: 1 week primary, 2 week secondary dry hopped w/ 2 oz of chinook, 2 weeks bottle conditioned.
Carbonation: 2/3 cups of corn sugar boiled in 2 cups of water, brought down to 70° and put directly in bottling bucket. Do this for each 5 gallon secondary fermenter.
