Alcohol: 8.3% v/v (6.5% w/w)
Water: R.O. water with a heavy pinch of gypsum added to the boil kettle.
Grain: 10.6 lb. American 2-row
1.51 lb. American Munich
7.2 oz. Belgian aromatic
0.75 lb. American crystal 40L
1.81 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
0.72 oz. Roasted barley
Mash: 85% efficiency
Mash at 150*F for 60 minutes, 10 minute mashout at 168*F. Add 1 tbs. 5.2 mash enzyme.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.058 8 gallons
Whirfloc tablet added at 15 minutes prior to flameout. Wyeast yeast nutrient added at 5 minutes prior to flameout.
Hops: .625 oz. Warrior (17.2% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (13% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (9.2% AA, 10 min.)
.5 oz. Warrior (17.2% AA, 10 min.)
1 oz. Columbus (14.7% AA, 10 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (5.4% AA, 0 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (9.2% AA, 0 min.)
1 oz. Warrior (17.2% AA, 0 min.)
Yeast: 1 packet US05, cultured on a stirplate.
Carbonation: Keg and slow carb to 2.3 volumes.
