Mimicking one of my favorite beers, Founders Red's Rye

Bitterness: 61 IBU
OG: 1.057 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Water: The north side of Chicago's finest tap water.
Grain: 7 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. American crystal 60L
2 lb. Flaked rye
1 lb. Rye (raw)
Mash: 70% efficiency
Single batch mash at 155º for at least one hour at 6qts of water per pound of grain. Sparge at 170º
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 6.5 gallons
Irish Moss added at 5 minutes left.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 15 min.)
2 oz. Amrillo (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1272 American Ale Yeast II
