Low acl for easy consumption without too much intoxication. Refreshing on a warm day in the yard.

Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.048 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: Naperville tap plus 1 tsp gypsum added to mash.
Grain: 6 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. Wheat malt
Mash: 80% efficiency
140-142F for 10 min
145-147F for 10 min
148-150F for 40 min
.5lb of rice hulls added to aid sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.034 7 gallons
Irish moss for final 15 min.
Hops: .6 oz. Saaz (6.8% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Saaz (6.8% AA, 20 min.)
.15 oz. Saaz (6.8% AA, 5 min.)
.25 oz. Pacific Gem (aroma)
Yeast: Nottingham dry ale yeast.
Log: Estimated brew date: early April.

Brewed:April 17th.
Missed mash temp by 10F but corrected by 20 min.
*Added the zest of 1/4 lemon at final 10 min of boil.

5/22/11 Bottled. Tastes and smells great.
Carbonation: 2/3 table sugar boiled and cooled in 1 cup of water.
