Alcohol: 6.6% v/v (5.2% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 60L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: muslin bag (grains and hops)Steep for 60 minutes
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.138 2.5 gallons
6 lb. Amber malt extract
2 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 tbsp Irish Moss at 45 minutes
Hops: .5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Magnum (11.1% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Columbus (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Magnum (12% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Columbus (aroma)
Yeast: US-05 dry ale yeast
Log: ferment at 68° for 10 days, secondary for 5 days
Carbonation: Bottle primed - 5oz. dextrose (5 gal batch)
Tasting: A bit sweet, good aroma, gets way better with age (didn't last long though :( Best bottle was the last, of course
