Grain: 8 oz. Caramel malt
8 oz. Melanoidin
4 oz. American chocolate
Steep: Steep grains in 1 gallon H20 @ 153° for 45 min. Sparge w/ 2 gallons 172° H2O.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.091 3 gallons
6.5 lb. Wheat extract
Add 6 oz Malto-Dextrine to wort.
Irish moss @ 45 min's
Hops: .5 oz. Hallertauer Mittelfruh (5% AA, 60 min.)
.75 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast German Wheat (3333)
Log: Ferment 7-10 Days @ 68-74°. Bottle or transfer to secondary
for additional 7-10 days.
Carbonation: 4.0 volumes Corn Sugar: 8.56 oz. for 5.0 gallons @ 72°F
