1 lb. German Munich
4 oz. American crystal 60L
Mash: 68% efficiency
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.054 6.5 gallons
3 lb. 8 oz. Honey
combine extract, Saaz hops,honey to make 6.5 gallons total volume. Boil for 58 min add cascade hops. chill , pitch yeast
Hops: 2 oz. Saaz (3.8% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Denny's fav 50, 800ml starter
started out wanting a lager but my pouch never took off , so whipped up a starter from fridge stock, and badda boom ... an ale was born
