Zombie Drool

Have not brewed this one yet. It is the next one on my list to do. I formulated this to be sweet, spicy with a slight chocolate flavor.

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
59 HCU (~25 SRM)
Bitterness: 33 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 4.6% v/v (3.6% w/w)
Water: PDX tap!
Grain: 8 lb. Belgian pale
8 oz. Belgian biscuit
8 oz. American crystal 20L
8 oz. Belgian chocolate
8 oz. American crystal 60L
Mash: 75% efficiency
I will use a 3 step decoction mash with a 5 gallon cooler.
Start with a 1qt/lb of grain
100°F for 30 min
130°F for 60 min
155°F for 90 min
Sparge at 170°f to get about 6.5 gallons
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.042 6.5 gallons
½ tsp Irish moss
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: WLP550 Belgian Ale Yeast;
Attenuation: 78-85%
Flocculation: Medium
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 68-78°F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium-High
