Bass Ale Clone, brewed for the 2010 Xmas party.

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
14 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.050 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: 1 TBS 5.2 Mash Stabilizer. 1 tsp Gypsum.
Grain: 7 lb. British pale
1 lb. British crystal 50-60L
8 oz. Flaked corn
Mash: 80% efficiency
Single step infusion mash at 152F for 60 minutes. Pull 1 gallon decoction and add to 1 gallon boiling water. Reintroduce to mash once decoction is boiling. Sparge with 170F water to collect 6.5 gal in brewpot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.042 6.5 gallons
6 oz. Brown sugar
1 tsp Irish Moss last 15 minutes
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs WLP013 London Ale in a 1qt starter.
Carbonation: Keg and force carbonate.
