Water: Schuylkill River Tap, allowed to breath for a few days
Grain: 2 lb. 8 oz. British mild
1 lb. 4 oz. British crystal
0 lb. 1 oz. American black patent
0 lb. 2 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: add grain to 6qt 150°F +10 min (140°F?)
+heat > 154°F - till complete (~45 min starch out)
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.083 3 gallons
4 lb. 0 oz. Light dry malt extract
1/4 tsp Irish Moss @ +15min
Hops: 0.5 oz. Amarillo (9% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: Safale S-04 dry pitch
Carbonation: 1.9 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 3.77 oz. for 5 gallons @ 55°F
