Water: Seattle's finest.
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 10L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Mash grain at 155°F for 40 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.055 6.5 gallons
7 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 tsp Irish Moss last 15 min of boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Centennial (aroma)
.5 oz. Chinook (aroma)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (aroma)
Yeast: Pacman!
Log: Dry hopped with 1 oz. Cascade & 1 oz. Mt Hood flowers on 3rd day directly into primary. No secondary, kegged on 10th day.
Carbonation: Force carb.
Tasting: Wow! Fantastic IPA! Massive floral aroma, citrusy, crisp forward flavors. well balanced bitterness. light body, fairly dry aftertaste. will definitely make again!...
