Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
24 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 26 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.0% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Grain: 4 oz. American crystal 20L
2 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: Place grains in hop bag and drop in the water when the burner is lit. Remove when water comes to a boil prior to adding extracts.
Boil: 30 minutes SG 1.108 2.5 gallons
2.5 lb. Amber malt extract
4.5 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Pumpkin (canned unspiced puree)
30 minutes:
1 can un-spiced pumpkin
2.5 lb Amber Extract
4.5 lb Light Extract
2 oz whole flower hops in a hop bag

5 minutes:
2 tbl Pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
Hops: 2 oz. Chinook (10% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: Pitch 1056 liquid yeast at 68 degrees.
Log: 5-10 days in the primary at 62-68 degrees, move to secondary for at least seven days prior to bottling/kegging.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Honey: 4.97 oz. for 5 gallons @ 68°F
