Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.0% w/w)
Water: 4.5 g gypsum
1/2 tspn irish moss
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 60L
Steep: add grain to cool water, bring up to and maintain 154° 30 mins
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.054 6 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Brown sugar
1 lb. Molasses
6 oz. unsweetened baker chocolate
1/14 oz. gypsum
60 min extract , molasses, brown sugar, chocolate, gypsum,and Magnum hops
45 min Williamette hops , irish moss
58 min Chinook
Hops: 1 oz. Magnum (10.6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: recycled- Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale (approx. 9gr.)
