First attempt at an Oktoberfest featuring traditional German malts and hops. To be served at an Oktoberfest gathering in a month.

Bitterness: 21 IBU
OG: 1.060 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: (Relatively hard) municipal tap water; Visalia, CA.
Grain: 2 lb. American 2-row
6 lb. German Vienna
1 lb. 12 oz. German Munich
1 lb. American crystal 60L
Mash: 83% efficiency
Single infusion mash, 155*F for 60 minutes, 1.25 quarts per pound of grain. Mashout, 164*F for 10 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.044 7.5 gallons
Wirfloc tabs added 15 minutes prior to flameout. Wyeast yeast nutrient added 10 minutes prior to flameout.
Hops: 2.5 oz. Hallertauer (2.5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: WLP810, San Francisco Lager Yeast (the Anchor Steam strain).
Log: Brew date: 9/18/10.
Carbonation: Keg and force carbonate.
