Tasting: I've made this one before! Tasting notes from the last batch:
This is a hophead’s idea of heaven featuring copious amounts of the following 4 hop varieties: Pacific Gem, Chinook, Sorachi Ace, and Willamette. After the primary fermentation is complete this brew is racked to a secondary vessel for another dose of Sorachi Ace hops for extended dry-hopping (~35 days). The pour appears medium amber orange with a light tan lacy head. Strong citrus hop aroma present in the nose along with a pleasantly sweet hint of malt. The Maris Otter, 6-row, and Mild Ale malts lend a substantial backbone to compliment the intense citrus and herbal hop bitterness.
