Mash: 60% efficiency
Single infusion, 150° for 90 minutes, Sparge with 170° to collect 6.5 gallons.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.064 6.5 gallons
Irish Moss for 15 min
Hops: 0.96 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1.92 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
0.96 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
1 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: WL California Ale harvested from primary fermenter of previous batch
Log: 5/1/10: Chilled to 75° and pitched almost a liter of slurry from last batch, active fermentation within 3 hours.
5/4/10: Primary fermentation complete, moved fermenter to 60 degree frige.
5/7/10: Racked to secondary with 3 oz of whole crystal hops. SG = 1.010.
