American Pale Ale 2.0

A theoretical improved version on an all nugget pale ale I brewed in April '10.

17 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 52 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: R.O. water with 1/2 tsp gypsum added to mash.
Grain: 7 lb. American 2-row
3 oz. Wheat malt
2 lb. German Vienna
1 lb. 4 oz. American crystal 60L
Mash: 75% efficiency
75 minutes at 150*F, 10 minute mash out at 168*F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.038 7.5 gallons
1 Wirfloc tab added 5 minutes prior to flameout, 1/2 tsp Wyeast yeast nutrient added 5 minutes prior to flameout.
Hops: .5 oz. Nugget (pellets) (13% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Nugget (pellets) (13% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Tomahawk (14.6% AA, 10 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (5.9% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: One packet of US05, rehydrated.
Log: "Aroma" hop addition is a seven day dry hop.
Carbonation: Keg and force carbonate.
Tasting: (unbrewed)
