My first attempt at a Red Ale, from Monkey King's version w/ changes.

Color:
18 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 39 IBU
OG: 1.057 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 5.6% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Water: All water is RO.
Grain: 20 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. Belgian Munich
2 lb. American victory
1 lb. American crystal 120L
.125 lb. Malanoidin malt
Mash: 75% efficiency
Mash in at 165°F to rest at 153°-155°F for 1 hour or conversion complete. Using RIMS system. Raise to 165°F to mash out
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 15 gallons
1 tsp. Irish Moss last 15 min. of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (7.4% AA, 30 min.)
4 oz. Cascade (7.4% AA, 15 min.)
4 oz. Cascade (7.4% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: 900 ml. starter of White Labs WLP051 California V Ale Yeast from stir plate.
