Mom's Bud Clone 2.0

Brew date: 3/18/10. My first lager, and it's a Budweiser clone!?!? Well, it's a mother's day gift for (who else) my mom, who has been an Anheuser-Busch devotee for some decades now. I'll update with tasting notes in a few months to let you know how close I got -- if someone ever finds themselves in the same strange situation: I need to brew a bud.

Beer: Mom's Bud Clone 2.0 Style: American Light Lager
Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
2 HCU (~3 SRM)
Bitterness: 15 IBU
OG: 1.042 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 4.3% v/v (3.4% w/w)
Water: Reverse osmosis. No minerals added.
Grain: 5.49 lb. American 2-row
4.4 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
2.75 lb. Flaked rice
Mash: 71% efficiency
Mashed at 148*F for 70 minutes, mashed out at ~165*F for 10 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.031 7.5 gallons
Wirfloc tablet added @ 20 minutes 'til flameout, .75 tsp Wyeast yeast nutrient added @ 5 minutes 'til flameout.
Hops: .25 oz. Nugget (13% AA, 60 min.)
.1 oz. Nugget (13% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: WYEAST 2007 (Bud lager strain), 4 day starter. Three pint starter decanted and replaced on day three.
