Water: RO municipal water with minimal carbonates added to balance pH.
Grain: 8 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. German Light Munich
.4 lb. Honey Malt
.4 lb. Belgian aromatic
.5 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
.33 lb. Flaked wheat
Mash: 70% efficiency
150 for 90 minutes, mashout at 168.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.043 7.5 gallons
.5 lb. Cane sugar
1 tab wirfloc at five minutes, 1 tsp yeast nutrient at 5 minutes.
Hops: .25 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Centennial (9% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Amarillo (13% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Perle (8% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 5 min.)
.25 oz. Simcoe (7.5% AA, 5 min.)
.25 oz. Amarillo (13% AA, 5 min.)
.25 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: 1 rehydrated pkg Nottingham dry.
