OG: 1.039 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 3.0% v/v (2.4% w/w)
Water: none...blessed with great water here.
Grain: .5 lb. German Munich
.5 lb. Oat Malt
1 lb. American chocolate
Steep: : 60 Minutes. Steeped Grains and Coconut at 170 for 20 minutes, strained and added to Boiling pot. Brought grain water to a boil. Boiled dark extract, dark malt extract and bittering hops. Last 15 minutes added 1 tsp Irish Moss. Last 10 minutes added finishing hops. Strained into Fermentation Bucket.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.096 2 gallons
3.3 lb. Dark malt extract
1 lb. Dark dry malt extract
1 bag flaked sweetend coconut (5 1/3 cups) added with the grains at the beginning of the boil
Hops: 1 oz. Fuggles (4.00% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (4.8% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: London ESB Yeast ( Activator)
Carbonation: 5 oz. Priming sugar 1 oz Coconut Flavoring and 2tsp rum extract
