Little Pig

This beer is the little half of my first parti gyle brewing session. It's a 2x5 gallon split, using the 60%/40% method for sugars. Capped the mash with 1/2# of chocolate for color and some toast/roast character.

2.4 lb. British pale
.4 lb. Wheat malt
.2 lb. American crystal 90L
0.1 lb. American chocolate
0.5 lb. American crystal 120L
Mash: 65% efficiency
152F for 1 hour. Recirculated after draining first runnings for Big Pig.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 5.5 gallons
Hops: 2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Danstar Nottingham
