Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Water: portland, oregon bull run tap water works great.
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 90L
8 oz. American crystal 120L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
2 lb. American chocolate
4 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: 155 degrees in 1.5 gallons for 30 min, rinse with 1.5 gallons 155 degree water
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.051 6 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
1 tsp irish moss at 15 min
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (7.4% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Northern Brewer (8.1% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: wy 1056 american ale, started from yeast harvested from primary of driftwood pale ale.

Carbonation: 1.9 volumes Corn Sugar: 2.54 oz. for 5 gallons @ 62°F
