Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.25 gallons
Color:
47 HCU (~21 SRM)
Bitterness: 26 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: -
Alcohol: -
Grain: 4 oz. Belgian aromatic
8 oz. American chocolate
Steep: Steep grains @ 150 for 40 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.091 3 gallons
3 lb. Amber malt extract
1 lb. Amber dry malt extract
8 oz. Cane sugar
2 lb. Honey
Boil the LME & Sugar for 60, add the DME @ 30, and the @ 10
Hops: 1.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: I used a standard American Ale Dry yeast Safale US-05
Log: Primary for 4 days and into the secondary for another week
Tasting: Everything looks good, I'll update if there is anything I'm not fond of can't wait for that malty delieciousness
