Rosh Hashanah Pomegranate Ale

Rosh Hashanah Holiday Pomegranate Ale.
Basically, an Amber ale with added Pomegranate juice.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 20 liters
Color:
25 HCU (~14 SRM)
Bitterness: 14 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.009
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: no water treatment
Grain: 400g Wheat malt
300g Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
300g British crystal 50-60L
Steep: 30 min at 67 °C
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.112 10 liters
200g Belgian candi sugar
3kg Amber malt extract
will be adding the extract at 20 min to end of boil to improve hop utilization.
Hops: 45g Liberty (4.2% AA, 60 min.)
15g Liberty (4.2% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: English ale yest from previous brew . washed and then strengthened with starter.
Log: 1 Liter of 100% Pomegranate juice will be added to primary on day 2 of fermentation. this is not included in the gravity calculations. should up the ABV and lower the IBU.
Bottled Sep 14th.

ended up with a calculated ABV of 5.9%.

Pomegranate juice was added after 36 hours from pitching yeast. fermented 14 days, cold crashed in fridge for 2 days and than bottled. final bottled quantity was 19.4 Liters.
ABV is a bit higher than calculated due to the juice.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 150g for 21 liters @ 27°C
Corn Sugar: 150g for 21 liters
Tasting: presented to Homebrewers meet. they liked it.
Pomegranate aroma and flavor come out nicely.
comments: needs to be a bit sweeter to compliment fruit tartness.
recommended use of Belgian ale yeast next time to improve fruitiness.
