Nice Hop addition but still balanced with a higher gravity.

Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.1% w/w)
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
8 oz. American crystal 20L
8 oz. American crystal 60L
8 oz. American crystal 120L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. Roasted barley
Mash: 80% efficiency
Mash in 3.75 gallons of water for 60 mins at 150° F. Sparge with enough 168 ° F water to produce 5.75 gallons of wort.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.059 5.75 gallons
At beginning of boil add Columbus hops and continue for 60 mins. more. Add first Cascade hop addition and continue boil for 30 mins more. At end of boil add last Cascade addition. Whirlpool and cool to 69° F to pitch yeast.
Hops: 0.99 oz. Columbus (7% AA, 90 min.)
0.99 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
1.0 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 0 min.)
.5 oz. Liberty (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 American Ale. Ferment at 69° F for seven days transfer to secondary and add Liberty Hops as Dry hop addition. Ferment for 7 more days until final gravity is between 1.008 and 1.012. Rack, Prime and bottle.
