Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: Publix Filtered water.
Grain: 10 lb. American 2-row
4 lb. American victory
4 lb. American dark chocolate
1 lb. American black malt
1 lb. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked barley
Mash: 85% efficiency
Decoction with 30 minute rests at 95f, 127f, 145f and 158f. Sparge at 170f making sure to have at least 12.5 gallons worth of runoff.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.048 12.5 gallons
Supermoss at 15minutes left to boil. I'm dumping a dollop of sorghum in the mix because I have it and need to use it.
Hops: 2 oz. Spalt (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
4 oz. Fuggles (4.6% AA, 30 min.)
2 oz. Czech Saaz (2.7% AA, 30 min.)
2 oz. Czech Saaz (2.7% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: Rehydrated munton's ale yeast that I have been using for stouts for the last year and a half.
Log: Brewed on 8/15/9.
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Keg: 4.7 psi @ 35°F
