Grain: 113g American black patent
Steep: Steep for 20 minutes at 155°F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.053 2 gallons
800g Dark malt extract
250g Dark Karo Corn sugar
225g Molasses
Add extract when temperature reaches 185°F. Sustain a rolling boilg for 2-3 minutes before addding hops.
Hops: 7g Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Munton's Dry
Log: Brewed 8/16/09: Total brew time: 1 hour 50 minutes
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Cane Sugar: 32.9g for 2 gallons @ 68°F
