Light Summer Cherry

This was an attempt to produce a light beer for the summer that is very drinkable.

Beer: Light Summer Cherry Style: American Pale Ale
Type: All grain Size: 6.25 gallons
Color:
19 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 19 IBU
OG: 1.085 FG: 1.018
Alcohol: 8.7% v/v (6.8% w/w)
Water: Sofened tap water
Grain: 10 lb. American 2-row
1.25 lb. British crystal 70-80L
.25 lb. Raw wheat
4 lb. German Pilsner
Mash: 68% efficiency
mash at 150-155 for 65 min
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.076 7 gallons
1.5 lb. Honey
1.25 lb. Bing Cherrys
Hops: 1.0 oz. Glacier (6.6% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Liberty (4.4% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: coopers with starter
Log: Bing cherrys destemed/pitted and run through a blender and added after primary fermentation.
Carbonation: 1 cup corn sugar
Tasting: This beer actually turned out really good!! However, you cannot taste the cherries but thats OK. I am writing this about 6 weeks after bottling and we got 7.5 gallons of beer!
