Bitterness: 22 IBU
OG: 1.064 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 6.5% v/v (5.1% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.064 5 gallons
4 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Wheat extract
1 lb. Belgian candi sugar
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 40 min.)
1 oz. Styrian Goldings (5.5% AA, 20 min.)
Yeast: 1056 smack pack
Log: After primary, I added 3 lbs of pureed watermelon to the secondary. I boiled the watermelon to remove any bacteria then ran it through a strainer to remove any pulp.
Tasting: N-Has an almost belgian-sour note in the nose. Initial taste is that of the secondary sweetness of watermelon.
