Brewed as a "Closet cleaner". Classified as Belgian Pale due to Yeast, but could possibly fit into the Roggenbier category.

1 lb. Flaked rye
Mash: 70% efficiency
Batch Sparge in Igloo Cooler w/Stainless Braid
Initial Infusion of 3.75 Gallons (1.5 qt/lb) @ 165F
Mash @ 152F for 60 minutes
Recover 3 Gallons Mash Runoff-Sparge with 2.5 Gallons @ 170F
Recover 5 Gallons total
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 5.5 gallons
Whirlfloc @ 45 Minutes
Hops: 1 oz. U.K. Bramling Cross (7% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. U.K. First Gold (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Safbrew T-58 Dry Belgian Ale Yeast
Log: Pitch T-58 @ 76F, Ferment@ 73F
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Keg: 5.1 psi @ 36°F
Tasting: Great going into the Fermenter; T-58 is very active, had airlock activity within 2 hours of pitching.
